Taidekahvila Terehtööri offers café services and, in the summer, temporary art exhibitions. The house has been restored to its original rustic 19th century atmosphere. The parents of author Johannes Linnankoski lived as tenants in the house when the author was born here in 1869. The café is open to the public 1 June - 15 August Wednesday - Sunday, 1 pm – 4 pm, Monday – Tuesday closed. Groups welcome on an advance reservation basis.
